# X Amount Value

## What Is It?

The X Amount Value offer applies a fixed currency amount as a discount to the cart, regardless of the cart’s total value. It is a flat rupee discount — straightforward, predictable, and easy for customers to understand.

You set the flat discount amount, and optionally a minimum cart value to ensure the offer only applies when the cart meets a minimum spend.

## When to Use It

* Minimum spend promotions (e.g. “Save ₹500 on orders above ₹2,000”)
* Festive season flat discounts (e.g. Diwali ₹300 off)
* Customer retention campaigns with a specific discount value
* Referral rewards where a fixed credit is applied


## Key Parameters

| Parameter | What It Means |
|  --- | --- |
| Amount Value (D) (required) | The flat discount amount to be deducted from the cart total. E.g. entering 500 means customers get ₹500 off. |
| Minimum Cart Value (MCV) (optional) | The minimum cart value required for the offer to apply. E.g. setting ₹2,000 means the discount only applies on carts of ₹2,000 or more. |

Where:

* D = Flat discount amount


The discount is always fixed at D, regardless of the cart value.
Unlike X Percentage Value, there is no cap needed — the amount is fixed.

### Example 1 (MCV Met)
