# Sending SMS from OMS

How to access on Fynd Commerce 
Commerce Panel → Orders → My Orders → Open any Order

In some situations, you can communicate the shipment status to your customer using Fynd Commerce  OMS.

## How to Send Shipment Status SMS from OMS

1. Use the OMS to communicate the real-time status of a shipment directly to your customer.
2. Click the **Kebab menu** (the three vertical dots) for the specific shipment you want to provide updates on.
3. Select the option to **send SMS** from the dropdown menu.
4. Choose the most appropriate **message template** for the current status of the order.
5. Confirm that the intended recipient is your **customer**.
6. Click the **send button**, and the SMS will be delivered to your customer instantly.
