# Search & Filter Orders How to access on Fynd Commerce Commerce Panel → Orders → My Orders ## Introduction The My Orders page provides multiple ways to find and narrow down orders — from quick keyword search to advanced multi-criteria filtering. This page covers everything beyond the basic layout described in [OMS Dashboard & Navigation](/commerce/docs/oms/oms-dashboard), including the advanced filter panel, custom tab creation, export options, and practical search workflows. ## How Search and Filters Work Together The My Orders page has three layers of filtering that work together, each narrowing the results further: 1. **Super-lane and sub-lane** (broadest): Selecting a super-lane (e.g., Unfulfilled) and sub-lane (e.g., New) filters orders by lifecycle stage first. 2. **Inline filters** (middle): The Search Type, search field, Date Range, Fulfilment Location, and Sort By controls narrow results within the selected lane. 3. **Advanced filters** (most specific): The filter panel (funnel icon) applies column-level criteria on top of everything above. All three layers are additive — selecting "Unfulfilled → New" then searching by Shipment ID then filtering by a specific sales channel gives you only the orders that match all three conditions. ## Inline Search Controls These controls sit in a single row above the super-lane tabs. For a quick reference of what each control does, see the [Dashboard & Navigation](/commerce/docs/oms/oms-dashboard#search-and-inline-filters) doc. This section covers usage details and tips. Seller can conduct searches using the last six digits of both order IDs and shipment IDs. ### Search Type + Search Field The **Search Type** dropdown determines which field the search bar matches against. | Search Type | What to Enter | Example | | --- | --- | --- | | **Auto** (default) | Any value — the system tries all fields | "17791768977031914806" or "rahul@email.com" | | **Shipment ID** | The full numeric Fynd shipment identifier | 17791768977031914806 | | **Bag ID** | The individual bag/item identifier | 12345678 | | **Order ID** | The Fynd order ID (starts with FY) | FY6A0C15C154DAB89D31 | | **External Order ID** | The marketplace or external system order ID | AMZN-114-3456789 | | **External Bag ID** | The bag/item ID from the external system | EXT-BAG-98765 | | **External Shipment ID** | The shipment ID from the external system | EXT-SHP-54321 | | **Channel Shipment ID** | The shipment ID assigned by the sales channel | CH-SHP-2026-001 | | **Invoice** | The invoice number assigned to the shipment | INV-2026-00451 | | **AWB** | The Airway Bill / tracking number from the DP | AWB123456789 | | **SKU** | The product SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) code | SKU-BLK-TSHIRT-M | | **EAN** | The European Article Number (barcode) | 4006381333931 | | **ALU** | The Alternate Lookup code for the product | ALU-12345 | | **UPC** | The Universal Product Code | 012345678905 | | **Customer Registered Phone** | The phone number linked to the customer's account | 9876543210 | | **Customer Name** | The customer's registered name | Rahul Sharma | | **Customer Phone** | The phone number provided on the order | 9123456789 | | **Customer Email** | The email address on the order | rahul@email.com | | **Return ID** | The unique return request identifier | RET-2026-00123 | ### Date Range The date picker defaults to the **last 30 days**. Click the calendar icon to set a custom range. The date range filters by the order's **placed date**, not by status change dates. For common scenarios: - **Today's orders**: Set both start and end to today's date. - **Last week's backlog**: Set the range to the past 7 days and check the Unfulfilled lane. - **Monthly review**: Set a full calendar month to review all orders for that period. ### Fulfilment Location Filters orders by the selling location assigned to fulfil them. This is especially useful if you operate multiple stores or warehouses and want to see only the orders routed to a specific facility. Leave this unselected to see orders across all locations. ### Sort By Controls the display order of results. The default is **SLA**, which surfaces orders closest to or already past their Service Level Agreement deadline at the top. This ensures you address the most time-sensitive orders first. Other available sort options include sorting by newest or oldest placed date. ## Advanced Filter Panel Click the **filter icon** (funnel) located above the order list table, to the right of the download icon. This opens a slide-in panel on the right side of the screen. The panel header shows a counter (e.g., "5/100 Sub-Tabs") indicating how many sub-tabs are currently configured out of the maximum allowed. The panel contains the following filter fields, each as a multi-select dropdown: - **Shipment Status**: Filter by one or more specific shipment statuses (e.g., Handed Over to Customer, DP Assigned, Placed). Selected values appear as removable chips below the dropdown with a **Clear** link to remove all selections for this field. - **Time to Dispatch**: Filter by the expected time-to-dispatch window. Useful for identifying orders that need to be dispatched within a specific timeframe. - **Payment Methods**: Filter by how the customer paid — Prepaid, COD, UPI, or other payment methods. Use this to separate COD orders requiring cash handling from prepaid ones. - **Delivery Partners**: Filter by the courier or logistics partner assigned to the shipment (e.g., Delhivery, Bluedart, self-ship). Helpful when coordinating pickups with a specific DP or troubleshooting delivery issues. - **Sales Channel**: Filter by the specific website, marketplace, or storefront the order came from (e.g., SnacAdda, CitadelDemo). Useful when you manage multiple sales channels and want to isolate orders from one. - **Tags**: Filter by tags applied to orders (e.g., STANDARD DELIVERY, EXPRESS, EXCHANGE, INTERNATIONAL). - **Lock Status**: Filter by whether shipments are locked or unlocked. Select **Unlocked** to see only orders that can be processed, or **Locked** to see orders blocked by a dependency (e.g., exchange awaiting return). Selected values appear as removable chips with a **Clear** link. - **Ordering Source**: Filter by the source from which the order was placed (e.g., website, app, Store OS, phone order). - **Channel Account Name**: Filter by the specific channel account name, useful when you have multiple accounts on the same marketplace or platform. At the bottom of the panel, two buttons let you take action: - **Clear All**: Removes all applied filters at once and resets the panel to its default state. - **Apply Filter**: Applies the selected filter criteria and updates the order list. Filters only take effect after you click this button. When filters are active, they work in combination with the inline filters (Date Range, Fulfilment Location, Sort By) and the selected super-lane/sub-lane. To clear all advanced filters, reopen the panel and click **Clear All**. ## Shipment View vs Order View The **Shipment View** dropdown (top-right of the super-lane row) controls how results are displayed: - **Shipment View** (default): Each row in the table represents a single shipment. If a customer's order was split into 3 shipments, you see 3 separate rows. This is the standard view for day-to-day fulfilment since you process shipments individually. - **Order View**: Each row represents a complete customer order. If the order has multiple shipments, they are grouped under the parent order. Use this view when you want to see the full picture of a customer's purchase or when handling customer support queries. Your search and filter results respect whichever view is selected. Searching by Order ID in Shipment View will show all shipments under that order as separate rows. The same search in Order View will show the order as a single grouped entry. ## Custom Tabs and Sub-Tabs Beyond the default super-lanes and sub-lanes, you can create custom tabs to match your specific workflow. This is one of the most powerful navigation features in the OMS. ### Adding a Custom Tab (Super-Lane) 1. Click the **+** icon located to the right of the last super-lane tab (after Action Centre). 2. A window will prompt you to enter a name for the tab (e.g., "MTO Orders", "High Priority Orders", "Franchise Returns"). 3. Click **Add Tab**. 4. A sub-tab configuration window will open, prompting you to set up the sub-tabs linked to this new tab. ### Adding a Custom Sub-Tab (Sub-Lane) 1. Click the **+** icon at the end of the sub-lane chip row within any super-lane (including custom ones). 2. Enter a name for the sub-tab. 3. Configure the filter criteria that define which orders appear in this sub-tab — select statuses, tags, sales channels, or other conditions. 4. Save the sub-tab. Your custom tab will now show filtered orders matching the configured criteria. ### Managing Tabs and Sub-Tabs On any tab or sub-tab, click the **dropdown arrow** next to its name to access management options: - **Edit**: Change the name or filters of the tab or sub-tab. - **Duplicate**: Create a copy with the same filter configuration, which you can then modify. - **Delete**: Remove the tab or sub-tab. To reset all custom tabs and revert to the original default layout (All, Unfulfilled, Processed, Returns, Action Centre), click the **⋯** (more options) button on the super-lane row and select **Reset Tabs To Default**. ## Exporting Filtered Results Click the **download icon** above the order list table to export the currently visible filtered results. The export respects all active filters — the super-lane, sub-lane, inline filters, and advanced filters all determine which orders are included in the export. This is useful for generating reports, sharing order data with your team, or creating records for reconciliation. You can select a date range of up to three months to download the list.
