# Image Guidelines

### Generic guidelines

| Paramater | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Resolution | Image resolution should be atleast 1000*1000 |
| Format | Only JPEG file format is allowed |
| Background | Image should be in white/light grey |
| Subjective Guidelines | Images should not contain price tag, stickers or the product tag |
| Image Quality | Images should not be cropped, extended or elongated |
| Image Quality | Blurred, pixelated images are not allowed |
| Image Quality | No part of the product must be out of focus |
| Props | Solo product should be displayed without additional props |
| Illustrations | No text/watermark are allowed in the image |
| Subjective Guidelines | Photoshopped images of celebrities are not allowed on products |
| Subjective Guidelines | Image shouldn’t contain any offensive or objectionable items |
| Comparison | Image should not contain ratings and comparison with other brands |
| Image Count | Minimum 2 images are required, 3 is preferred, the number may depend on the product |


### Apparel guidelines

| Paramater | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Product Display | Product should be displayed without packing |
| Background | Light grey background with soft shadow is required, white background will not be accepted |
| Angles | Front and back view images are mandatory, Side images are good to have (optional) |
| Fitting | Models wearing ill fitted (loose or extremely tight) garments are not allowed as the product looses its aesthetics |
| Lighting | image should not be taken under heavy/extremely bright lights, lighting should be soft and as natural as possible |
| Product Condition | Product must not contain any creases or folds, use properly ironed apparel |
| Tone | Model should have the same skin tone throughout the images |
| Model | Same model should be used for all shots of the product |
| Mannequin | Mannequin images are not allowed |
| Count | If the product contains more than 1 unit, then the first image should showcase all the units |
| Pockets | Pocket view (in case the product has pockets) is good to have |


### Accessories guidelines

| Paramater | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Angles | Mandatory front and back images, angled shot (in case of sunglasses) is mandatory |
| Casing | Product casing (if provided) is mandatory for certain items, for e.g. sunglasses |
| Product Condition | Product should not contain any dust, stains, scratches, text engraving |
| General Guideline | Model should not be wearing any other accessory other than the product |
| Lighting | Colour and lighting should be consistent throughout the image |
| Wearing accessories | A model wearing the accessory is good to have (optional) |


### Footwear guidelines

| Paramater | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Angles | Mandatory front, back and angled shot is required, Top and sole image is required, A side and a zoomed view is good to have (optional). Tip and heel shots are mandatory for sandals |
| Model | A model wearing the shoe is good to have (optional) |
| Fitting | The footwear must fit the model (sizing should be perfect) |
| Accessories | Heave accessories should not be included in the image |
| Mannequin | Mannequin shots should be avoided, use real models. |
