# Image Guidelines

### Generic Guidelines

| Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Format | JPEG is the preferred format, PNG and GIF files are allowed as well |
| Resolution | The image must be at least 1000 pixels on the longest side and 500 pixels on the shortest side |
| Background | The main image must be on a pure white background |
| Frame | The product must fill at least 85% of the frame |
| Image Quality | The image must not contain any watermark, logo or insert images |
| Condition | All the products used must be new and must not contain any scratches or creases |
| Watermark | Images should not contain any watermark or text |
| Accessories | The image must not contain accessories that is not part of the product |
| Subjective Guidelines | Images must not contain any objectionable or offensive material |


### Apparel Guidelines

| Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Mannequin | Mannequin shots are allowed |
| Model Front Shot | Front cropped shot of the model is needed |
| Model Back Shot | Back cropped shot of the model is needed |
| Detail Shot | A full-length front shot of the model wearing the apparel is needed |
| Close Up | Close up shot of the fabric detail/branding is needed |
| Consent | All the pictures of the models must be taken with consent |


### Footwear Guidelines

| Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Angles | Front angular, back, pair, bottom sole and pair shot with the model are required |
| Condition | Shoes must not be worn and if the footwear contains laces, they must be tied up |
