# Overview

Fynd Commerce  helps you create and display all the variants of your products. Following are a few variant types you might have commonly noticed:

1. **Colour Variants**: Red shirt, blue shirt, and yellow shirt
2. **Shade Variants**: Lipsticks having shades of pink, i.e. blush, coral, and flamingo
3. **Material Variants**: Cotton trousers, nylon trousers, and wool trousers
4. **RAM Variants**: Smartphones with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM
5. **Storage Variants**: Laptops with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage
6. **Flavour Variants**: Icecreams available in mango, strawberry, and chocolate flavour

Important
To add a product as a variant to another product, both must belong to the same brand and category. For e.g. you cannot club a shirt and pants as variants of each other. Similarly, you cannot treat Nike shoes and Puma shoes as variants.
