# Rate Calculator

How to access on Fynd Logistics
Logistics panel → Courier Partners → Rate Calculator

The Rate Calculator lets you compare courier partner rates and delivery timelines before creating a shipment. Use it to select the most cost-effective or fastest option for a given pickup and delivery combination.

You can access it from **Courier Partners → Rate Calculator**.

## Fields

### From and To

Enter the pickup address in the **From** section and the delivery address in the **To** section. Each section includes Address, Pincode, City, and State fields.

### Applied weight

Enter the shipment weight used for billing calculations. Select the unit of measurement - grams or kilograms.

### Payment mode

Select **Prepaid** or **COD**.

### QC enabled for return

Enable this option if return quality check is required during return shipment processing.

### Shipment value

Enter the shipment value in INR. This may affect insurance, COD processing, and courier partner pricing.

## Getting rates

After entering all required details, select **Get Rates**. The platform displays available courier partner rates grouped into three categories:

- **Forward** - rates for standard delivery shipments
- **RTO** - rates for return-to-origin shipments
- **Return** - rates for return pickup shipments


Each result shows the courier partner name, shipping rate, and estimated delivery date. Recommended courier partners are highlighted with a **Recommended** tag.

## Booking from the Rate Calculator

Select **Ship Now** beside any courier partner option to continue with shipment creation using that courier partner. The Create Shipment page opens with the shipment type preselected, pickup and delivery addresses prefilled, and the courier partner preselected. You only need to complete the remaining package, payment, and invoice details before creating the shipment.
