How to access on Fynd Commerce

Commerce Panel → Sales Channel (select application) → Configuration → Shipping → Fulfillment Options

By default, Standard Delivery is already enabled with all stores, products, and delivery partners pre-selected. If needed, you can easily edit the configuration to customize it further.

Here’s the step-by-step instructional guide to configure multiple fulfillment options on the Commerce platform, designed to offer customers delivery choices such as standard delivery, express delivery, or self-pickup.

To use this feature, make sure the Turbo theme is enabled for your sales channel

Configure multiple fulfillment options

  1. Go to Shipping > Fulfillment Options from the left-hand navigation menu for the sales channel where you want to enable this feature.

  2. A fulfillment option named “Standard Delivery” is enabled by default. All stores, products, and delivery partners are enabled for this fulfillment option. Please note that the default fulfillment option cannot be disabled; however, you can edit and modify its settings.

  3. Select + Add Fulfillment Option under the “Delivery” section.

  4. In the Basic Details tab:

    • Enter Fulfillment Option Name. Customers will see this name on the product page as a shipping method. (for example: Express Delivery).
    • Enter Description. (for example: Delivers orders within 2 days).
    • Slug will be generated automatically based on the name.
    • Select Business Units (Select Store OS to enable for in-store pickups or select Storefront to enable shipping methods for your storefront).
  5. In the Define Maximum Delivery Time section:

    • Toggle the switch to enable. The fulfillment option will be shown to customers for a product only if its delivery promise falls within the maximum limit defined here. This helps ensure the delivery timeline matches the name of the fulfillment option.
    • Choose a delivery promise:
      • Same Day – Deliver the shipment on the same day the order is placed.
      • Next Day – Deliver the shipment the day after the order is placed.
      • Custom Time – Set a custom delivery timeline, such as 30 minutes or 3 days.
  6. In the Shipping Strategy section:

    • Choose a shipping strategy for the fulfillment option:

      • Ship to All Locations – Allow orders from all serviceable locations.
      • Restrict to Shipping Zones – Allow orders only from the configured shipping zones.
    • If you select Restrict to Shipping Zones, you will be redirected to the Shipping Zones section after creating the fulfillment option to complete the zone setup.

  7. In the Fulfilling Locations section:

    • Click Add, then select either Add manually or use Bulk Upload (see separate steps below).
    • Manually select the locations that will fulfil the orders.
    • Click Done to confirm the selected locations.
  8. In the Products section:

    • Click Add, then choose Add manually or use Bulk Upload (see separate steps below).
    • Select the products you want to enable for this fulfillment option.
    • Click Done to confirm your selection.
  9. In the Delivery Partners section:

    • Click Add, then choose Add manually or use Bulk Upload (see separate steps below).
    • Select a delivery partner capable of meeting the delivery promise defined for this fulfillment option.
    • Click Done.
  10. Toggle the Inactive/Active switch at the top-right corner to activate the fulfillment option.

  11. Click Save to apply and enable the option.

Bulk upload instructions (for applicable sections)

You can bulk upload data for fulfilling locations, ordering locations and products.

Show fulfilment options as filters and product badges on PLP

You can now show fulfilment options as filters and product badges on the Product Listing Page (PLP) based on the shipping zones applicable to the customer’s location.

When a customer enters their location, the system identifies the relevant shipping zones and loads the catalog. Based on the fulfilment options linked to those zones, applicable fulfilment options can be shown as filters on PLP and as badges on product cards.

How it works

  • Only fulfilment options with serviceable products for that location are shown as filters.
  • When no filter is applied, the product card shows the fastest applicable fulfilment option.
  • When a filter is applied, the catalog and product card shows products of selected fulfilment option.

To enable and manage these filters, refer this.

Turbo Theme configuration

  • You can choose to show or hide the fulfilment option name and its delivery promise on the product card from the Turbo Theme Editor under Settings → Product Card Configuration.
  • Use the toggles Show Fulfilment Option Name (Show Delivery Promise Code) and Show Delivery Promise (Show Delivery Date).
