Overview

Trusted embeddings allow a storefront to be opened within an iframe only on a predefined list of trusted domains. This prevents storefront embedding on unknown or unapproved websites.

By default, storefront embedding is disabled, and the storefront cannot be opened in an iframe on any domain.

When this is required

1. Testing and simulation of storefront journeys on staging or QA domains
2. Validation of analytics, personalization, and engagement flows on external experience platforms such as Netcore PX
3. Partner or affiliate journeys where the storefront is embedded within a controlled partner domain
4. Assisted selling environments such as internal portals or kiosk setups hosted on approved domains

Trusted domain guidelines

1. Only domains that are fully trusted and controlled should be allowlisted.
2. Shared third-party domains should be avoided wherever possible.

Add a trusted domain

1. Select the protocol from the dropdown.
2. Enter the domain in the field provided.
3. Select Add.
4. Select Save to apply changes.

Edit a trusted domain

1. Select the edit icon for the domain in the list.
2. Update the domain value.
3. Select the tick icon to confirm the update.
4. Select Save to apply changes.

Delete a trusted domain

1. Select the delete icon for the domain in the list.
2. Confirm deletion.
3. Select Save to apply changes.
