Product details help customers quickly understand key characteristics of a product, such as material, gender, brand, size, or department. These details are displayed as labelled key-value pairs on the product display page (PDP) of your storefront.
The Details feature allows you to group and configure department-wise product attributes in a structured, readable format.
Details are department-specific. If you create a detail group for the Men Fashion department, it will only appear on PDPs of products belonging to that department.
You must first select a Department (product category) (present on the left) to configure its product detail groups. Examples include:
- Fashion
- Men Fashion
- Swimwear
- Footwear
- Electronics
Use the Type to search field to quickly locate the department.
A group defines the section heading under which related product attributes will appear on the PDP. You can:
- Add group – Create a new group (e.g. Material Info, Care Instructions).
- Edit group – Modify the group’s name, icon, or assigned attributes.
- Remove group – Permanently delete a group (you can recreate it later if needed).
Deleted groups cannot be restored.
You can also reorder groups by dragging them within the list.
Click Create attribute group or select Edit on an existing group. You’ll be able to configure the following:

| Group name | Enter a label to appear as a section heading on the PDP (e.g. Product Details, Material Composition). This can be changed later. |
| Attributes | Select one or more predefined attributes to include in the group (e.g. Gender, Material, Brand). |
| Display name | Rename how the attribute is displayed on the PDP (e.g. change Material to Fabric Type). |
You can:
- Reorder attributes using the drag handle
- Remove an attribute using the delete icon
- Expand an attribute to edit its display name
If you create a group called Product Details and assign it the attributes Material, Gender, and Brand the PDP will show:

- The configured product details appear only if the product has the relevant attribute assigned during product creation.
Whether product detail groups are visible on the PDP depends on the theme-level implementation. Please ensure your theme is configured to display them.
