How to access on Fynd Commerce

Commerce Panel → Sales Channel (select application) → Products → Seller Detail

Introduction

Seller details allow you to display information about the merchant or supplier on the product details page (PDP). These attributes include:

  • Manufacturer or marketer
  • Country of origin
  • SKU, HSN, or EAN codes
  • Packed by or imported by
  • Expiry date, shelf life, and similar values

You can group these attributes and display them on the product display page (PDP) using the Seller Details configuration.

Do not confuse Seller Details with Product Details

Product Details are department-specific and describe the product itself (such as material, gender, size).

Seller Details, on the other hand, contain seller-side compliance or logistics-related attributes.

How to configure seller details

Step 1: Create an attribute group

  1. In the Seller Details section, select Create attribute group.
  2. Enter a group name. This is the label that appears on the storefront (e.g. “Seller Info”, “Packed & Marketed by”).

Step 2: Add seller attributes

  1. Use the Select attribute dropdown to search and add relevant seller-level attributes. Examples:
    1. Marketed By
    2. Manufactured By
    3. Packed By
    4. Country of Origin
    5. SKU, HSN, Imported By
  2. Add as many attributes as needed. You can:
    1. Reorder attributes by dragging them.
    2. Delete individual attributes using the bin icon.
    3. Rename the display label of each attribute using the drop-down arrow.

Step 3: Save the group

If you create a group called Seller Information and assign it the attributes Manufactured By, Country of Origin, and HSN Code, the PDP will show:

Example display on the PDP:

[group name] Seller Information:

[attributes]
Manufactured By: Fynd Retail Pvt. Ltd.
Country of Origin: India
HSN Code: 6109

It might take up to 1 hour to reflect the changes. Since these configurations aren't used regularly, the caching duration is active and new changes might take time.

Best practices

  • Group seller attributes logically (e.g. regulatory info, logistics info).
  • Use short, readable names for groups and display labels.
  • Avoid duplicate attributes across multiple groups.
